It appears the cable news network wants to add some excitement and flair to their operations by naming former NBC Universal chief Zucker as its president. Guess he wanted a challenge. Going from network to 24 hour cable.....???

If "excitement and flair" means making CNN better, then they'd better hope that the version of Zucker they get
is the guy who did things like make the Today Show #1 (in the '90s), and gave the news division a boost, not the version
who ran NBC Entertainment into the ground, and royally screwed up the Leno/O'Brien thing.

NBC still hasn't recovered from this guy.

Some of the reactions to CNN's choice are pretty hilarious:

Guess for CNN though, they figure there's really nowhere to go but up at this point

Three things:

1) SERIOUS overhaul of their news philosophy. Stop being MSNBC jr.

2) CLEAN HOUSE. Get rid of the douchecopter who bounced Ashleigh from Early Start and put her and Zoraida back together. Get rid of Wolf Blitzer, Don Lemon, Piers Morgan, Roland Martin, Candy Crowley and Fareed Zakaria and the other morons who are bleeding your credibility and ratings.

3) SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY. This is in reference to Lemon's magical underpants tweet during the summer. First offense: suspended for 60 days w/o pay and your social media accounts go dark for the same time. Second offense: FIRED. No appeal, no exceptions.
