No, it's not the same at all. Not to mention assorted leggy lovelies like Andrea Catherwood, Louise Beale, Nicole Itano... all gone within the last year.

At least Olivia is still around, although she has barely shown up on air so far this year. Which reminds me... here's Olivia "burning up 1,000 calories in an hour" (yeah, like she needs it), from a few days ago.

Yeah, I haven't seen her since last week and that was because I thought I saw her in the background. Mind have been wrong though. Good to see her here though. She doesn't need it but it's nice to see her do this anyway. Thanks for the video!

Linzie's moving to New York. I guess she won't be seen on global television anymore as ABC News hired her.

At least she didn't end up on Sky News

But i wont be seeing her.

Countdown was Linzie's show and now she's gone.

Unless there is a major change of direction i will be watching CNBC in the morning now.

Wonderful desk shots have now been replaced with sitting at big table's. I can see Caroline and Olivia going next but hope i'm wrong.

According to her website, it looks like she's left the TV biz and is concentrating on her academic career
And she's been gone for a while but nobody mentioned Zahra Burton left

That's good to hear about Linzie. I'll try to get her as much as possible as I generally watch ABC News. Yeah, I agree. Linda was good and it's a shame she's gone as well.

Would like to think we can still see that view of Caroline at least. Mia Saini would be an fine Linzie replacement but only if the tables go!

You think so? Redundancies were already made, and some of those who were allowed to stay in London got a promotion. Others have always had key editorial positions, like Francine Lacqua, so those are needed more than before. Francine's the kind of anchor who feels comfortable with both a traditional, table-based, dull concept as well as something more daring and leg-friendly like 2011's Countdown and 2010's On the Move. Caroline can still show some cleavage when she feels like being sexy, and Olivia might still be able to show off her cheeks when she's on the road for Bloomberg. However, you certainly have to pick out those special moments. CNBC Europe has become more rewarding in these terms.

I chose those three as they have got rid of all the other female presenters / reporters i just assumed it would continue.

But i hope there are no more redundancies.

Wish they would return to the old format with On The Move. We got great views of Francine and Caroline. The table based concept sure is dull and they will have to do something with The Pulse. Dull, Dull, Dull

Watching CNBC tomorrow morning. It's been a while.

Francine can be leggy but I hate that new desk thing even if the moments sometimes are funny with Mark and Caroline chatting. Yes, it is dull dull dull and with Stephanie soon to be out of action it's a bad mistake to allow Linzie to leave the network. She could have replaced Stephanie. She was great when she was here. But I guess we'll have Sara and Scarlet on Lunch Money and Market Makers.
