Can you show your source for that? And how reliable is it?

Because there's a lot of evidence that Heather is indeed about 44 right now.

She won a preliminary for Miss North Carolina in 1993:

And in order to have been in it, she could not have been older than about 24 at the time...it's not allowed. (Miss America age rules)

Heather is listed by the University of N.Carolina as a 1991 graduate :

So again, how likely is it that she was much older than her early 20s in 1991?

And just to back it up even more, there's a person with her exact name listed as being a NYC resident
on public records who is now 44 years old. (I won't tell you how to look it up, but you could with not much trouble)

If Heather's really over 50, she's done an amazing job covering it up - it would mean that she started lying about
her age well over 20 years ago, back when she really didn't need to.
You can't fake that much of your personal history.

The Charlotte Observer also did a story on Heather when she was hired by FNC
Her birthday was Jan. 7, and the story, which I unfortunately don't have a link to, indicated she is 44
I think people think she's older because of her husky voice
There's a lot to like about Heather besides the obvious
The Charlotte Observer story said she was involved in a bad automobile accident when she was a teenager and she underwent several facial and oral surgeries
When asked what she learned from the ordeal, she said: "You just have to keep trying."
I have interacted with her a few times on Facebook and she seems like a genuinely sweet lady
