Since they got Bianca from Fox and now Cindy, what are the odds on Maria coming over? Who knows maybe Zip Trips are in the future.

Second, heads up weatherbabe fans! Heard today that a shake up at WCVB ch5 is coming. JC Monahan is leaving the eye opener newscast. She isn't leaving the station at all, but she will become one of the anchors on Chronicle. Her replacement, none other than Cindy Fitzgibbon last seen on Ch 25 mornings. This isn't a bad thing IMHO as we can now get our fix of both ladies without changing the station. The changeover begins in June.

I haven't watched Chronicle in a long time, but as I recall, JC wasn't dressed as nice on that as she is doing weather and she's behind a desk in the studio. I would expect more pants and less skirts. It will be nice to see Cindy again.

I figure the odds are close to zero. Maria is the top anchor at Fox 25 so unless the money and working conditions are fantastic at another station and they make her lead anchor, why would she leave Fox 25? If they made her top dog at WCVB they would probably piss off a lot of the other anchors too.

An oustanding selection of women. Sad to hear that JC is off the weather but I've seen her do interviews before and I hope she shows off her legs even more! She's looking great here in pink. Elizabeth has been great of late. Nice skirt tonight. Sarah looked so sexy over the weekend. Melissa continues her hot streak. Thanks!

Wonder what the real story is with JC. Is it by her choice that this move is taking place or the station to minimize the impact before dismissal. Although I would not know why. JC seems to be a local favorite. Any thoughts?

Yes JC is a local favorite. Maybe she got tired of getting up so early in the morning and wanted to have normal hours to spend more time with her family. Don't know, just an idea.

I would tend to agree on all counts Braniac. I doubt that JC would want to leave the station, or would be on the chopping block. Don't forget that she had another munchkin not so long ago. Most moms to enjoy being with their babies.

Just throwing in my two cents : I,too,agree with braniac's conclusion.I agree for a slightly different reason:
WCVB tends to like to keep its on air people around for a long time.Two of its most recent departures were
after extended time at the station (David Brown - 17 years and Amalia Barreda - 21 years).I guess they still
subscribe to the idea that familiar is better,unlike a lot of other stations around the country.Just a thought.

Sarah is on fire here. Bianca has looked particularly fetching these last couple of days. Good to see JC before she's off away from the weather. Too bad we didn't get to see Lilly sit down! :Joker

First, thanks braniac for all these great caps..Awesome as always and Bianca is looking fantastic. Second I haven't been around much lately and am so glad to see Cindy Fitzgibbon coming back to mornings. I always liked getting my weather from her and it was easier hearig her tell me about about some major blizzerd. I have a feeling that she got fed up with the Fox's management and their lack of loyalty. I believe that is why channel 5 keeps their people around for many years . They have been very consistent for many years with their people. I think JC will be around for many years. :Dancing

I really hope JC will be around for many years. I always enjoyed how she interacted with the morning crew, whomever substituted. I thought that JC may be wanting to spend more time with her family, but alas I am selfish and want to keep seeing her on the morning news. Cindy will certainly be refreshing, I have met her on different Zip Trips and she has a really great personality. Plus I must say, if I can do that here without offending anyone, she looks smoking hot. Braniac keep up the good work, I love this sight and look forward to the updates.
