Whoever's in charge there is just letting her do what she's been doing all along.

Brianna's been on the White House beat for a few years now, and recently was promoted to
a senior spot there, but part of the deal includes her shuttling back to NY for anchor & fill-in duties,
especially on weekends, then back to DC during the week.

The anchoring is mainly Atlanta, not NY, though I think The Situation Room is DC.
