A bit odd to be co-hosting the pulse from NYC as Guy was on from London today as usual. I didn't see much of the show today so not sure if Anna was on. Guy mentioned last week that Francine was in Venice and would be back on Monday (17th) and she was. Don't quite know what is going on if she is back again next Monday now. Now that Olivia is no longer based in London they will send Caroline to the airport to jet off and interview CEO's and report from conferences. But she has already had her holiday in the sun.

Guy was in New York to co-anchor The Pulse (the most important European show for U.S. viewers!) earlier this year right after production shifted to New York following the massive cutbacks in London. So it's not that unusual, as is the fact that Francine was on the road again. Ever since the cutbacks, both the anchors and the correspondents seem to be on assignment much more often. Before that, well, they had Olivia and Poppy to do that job, and Maryam flew to Paris every so often because she wanted to.

Can't blame her.

Would love to have a glass of wine with her in a lovely French town. And afterwards, she'd whisper something in my ear... in French... even "Tu regarde Le Pouls avec moi, Maryam Nemazee!" would do it for me!

I would like that too. It was great when she was sent to Paris. Even now it hard to believe they got rid of her.
